Details about products

All products advertised in this shop have been made in our UK workshop in Crowthorne by Helena Ross.   All pieces may contain small bubbles in them that occur as part of the process of making these items.  We will not sell a piece if we think that the bubbles will cause a problem in the future.

Efforts have been made to ensure the photographic images are as close as possible to appearance of the finished goods.  We cannot control the appearance of the images seen on your computer viewing screen as its settings may be different.  In addition, the appearance of glass objects are sensitive to the surroundings they are placed in, and respond to different light quality, and proximity of nearby coloured objects.

If the product was purchased from our online shop, there is an option for cancelling the purchase and returning the goods.

Care and Use of the Glass

We recommend cleaning the glass with a damp soft cloth.  If necessary, a small amount of mild detergent can be used, rinsing afterwards.   The glass should be dried with a cloth.  Do not wash in a dishwasher or very hot water.

The merchandise is not recommended to be used in direct contact with food, due to the way that the items have been made and from the glass manufacturers recommendations; it is a decorative item only.  The texture of the glass may be stained or etched by contact with highly coloured, or chemically active materials.

The merchandise is sold for decorative purposes only care and usage information has been provided and there is no warranty for other care methods or uses.

The glass used and the processes used to make the merchandise are common in the craft industry.  To ensure the glass is strong and does not crack or otherwise degrade in its recommended purpose it is carefully heated, annealed and cooled using commonly-used processing conditions.  Spontaneous faults are very rare.

However, being made from glass, the merchandise will break if dropped onto hard surfaces or if hit by hard objects.  We do not provide a warranty for such damage.  If the merchandise develops a crack within 6 months of purchase, please contact us, preferably including a photograph of the fault, and we will discuss how we can provide a remedy if appropriate.
